1. How to quickly understand this product?
1. Your vehicle must be equipped with Wired CarPlay and come with a standard USB port.
2. Carlinkit 3.0 is only available for iPhone running ios 10+. Carlinkit 4.0 is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones.

2. Does the device have to work with Wifi or Bluetooth? My Car doesn’t have Wifi.
Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works solely on WiFi from that point on.
3. How can I know wehther my car has the original Carplay?
1. Plug the iPhone (running IOS 10 or newer) directly into the car via a USB cable and check whether Carplay is displayed on the car screen.
2. If there is a CarPlay icon in the car stereo menu, your car has a built-in Wired CarPlay.

4. What is the difference between version 3.0 and version 4.0 of U2W Carlinkit?
1. Performance
Currently, Carlinkit 3.0 only supports iPhone for Carplay.
Carlinkit 4.0 is an upgraded version of Carlinkit 3.0. It is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones.
2. Appearance
Carlinkit 3.0 is available in black and white. Carlinkit 4.0 is navy blue.
5. Will it work with the phone?
Carlinkit 3.0 works on all iPhone 6 and above, IOS 10 and above version.
Carlinkit 4.0 is compatible with both iPhone (iPhone 6 and above, IOS 10 and above version) and Android smartphones (Android 9.0 and above, some require Android 11.0 and above version, e.g. Huawei).
6. Does it come with instructions?
Yes, it comes with instructions.
7. Will there be any differences in the built-in devices that fit between different vehicles from the same brand? Or are the built-in devices the same for all vehicles?
The built-in devices of all vehicles are the same.
8. If I have two phones, which one will it choose？
You can use either phone, but if you have both in the car, it will connect to the last paired phone.
9. Do I have to sync the adapter every time I use it?
Nope! After you set it up, your phone will pair with it autosomally as soon as you start the car every time.
10. Will leaving the Carlinkit 3.0 plugged into the USB port when the car is off drain the battery?
When your car is powered off you can see the device light indicator is off, you can pretty much sure it won‘t drain the battery of your car.
11. Can I remove Apple Maps and put it in Google Maps?
Google maps work with CarPlay. Whatever apps you use for android or apple that works with CarPlay would work as well.
12. Does it automatically connect when you get in the car or do you have to reconnect every time?
As long as you leave the application open, it connects immediately when you get in the car.
13. Can I lock the phone while it’s connected?
You can lock your phone while it is connected to the device.
14. Do the steering wheel buttons work with it (including Siri)?
All buttons work just like the original car system in our carlinkit 3.0.
15. The USB is in my glove box and it’s the only port I have. Can you play music with your phone through that or it’s only for charging?
The phone will not charge if it's not connected to the USB port or placed on a wireless charger. This is a product that allows you to wirelessly play CarPlay. If you have CarPlay on your head unit, this allows it to play wirelessly. And plugging in the USB on the other end of the cable of the Carlinkit so you can still use it for other things (charging, radar, etc.).
16. Does the backup camera show up on Carlinkit 3.0?
The backup camera can show up on the screen when you are parking.
17. Can apple carplay work without being plugged in?
This is a product that allows you to wirelessly play CarPlay. If you have CarPlay on your head unit, this allows it to play wirelessly.
18. Do I still have the option of connecting wired with carlinkit?
You can use wireless connect through wifi or use wired connect by cable option.
19. How to switch to another phone once carlinkit is already connected?
You can have more phones in the device memory, but only one at a time will work. if several phones are paired with the device and whoever is using the car, the device connects with the nearby phone.
20. Does the wireless connection drain your phone battery?
The phone battery does not seem to drain any faster than normal. Also, you can plug in a charger that will allow your phone to stay at a high battery volume.
21. What is the reason that BMW is not supported the device? Even though it has factory CarPlay.
This is a problem with communication protocol. BMW's head unit system is not unified with other car's head unit systems, so there is no way to be compatible. All BMW's wireless converters are always separate, and they are not suitable for adapters of other models.
